This March, we had the pleasure of receiving the visit from the Consell Comarcal del Bages at our central headquarters of SERHS Food, as the winners of the school nutrition service contract for the schools we manage. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and present our approach and the values that guide us.
From the Consell Comarcal, we were honored by the presence of the President of the Consell Comarcal del Bages, Mr. Eloi Hernàndez, the Councillor of Education, Ms. Àdria Mazcuñan, the Spokesperson for the ERC Group, Ms. Sílvia Tardà, the responsible for communication, protocol, and institutional organization, Mr. David Prat, and the head of the Education and Culture Service, Ms. Paula Mora. From SERHS Food, Raimon Bagó, CEO, Jordi Cabrespina, Financial Business Director, Montse Bagó, Educa Manager, as well as other company representatives, attended.
We showed them our facilities, including the CAR, our high-performance kitchen, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and advanced technology, which allows us to prepare meals while complying with the highest food safety standards and ensuring maximum quality in every service.
Following the parameters established in the public tender, we work with a variety of organic, local, seasonal, fresh, and integrated production products for the preparation of school meals in the centers managed by the Consell Comarcal del Bages. In total, we serve over 30 schools in the region and approximately 2800 children daily, with a variety of more than 100 different types of diets, which is a significant feature.
These include: organic legumes, organic whole wheat pasta, organic beef, fresh fruit grown according to integrated production criteria, local bread from the Cabrianes bakery, as well as dairy products from the Granja de la Torre, vegetables, potatoes, and lettuce from Bages. Moreover, it is also worth highlighting the incorporation of fresh fish once a week in the menus.
Our commitment remains the same: to offer a proximity, quality, and healthy service to the schools. We thank the Consell Comarcal del Bages for their visit and trust. We will continue working together for a healthier and more sustainable future for the new generations!
