SERHS FOOD AWARDED THE CATERING SERVICE AT ICO (Duran and Reynals Hospital)

This February 2025, the management of the new food service at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) has begun, led by SERHS Food. The service covers both patients (123 beds in the hospital and 57 places in the day hospital), as well as public service and healthcare staff cafeterias, and vending machines.

In 1996, the ICO started its activities at Hospital Duran i Reynals as a reference care center for cancer treatment in patients diagnosed in the Metropolitan South health region. ICO Hospitalet works closely with Bellvitge University Hospital, which is located nearby. Additionally, it collaborates with 7 regional hospitals. Each year, it registers around 3,200 discharges, more than 16,000 first visits, nearly 42,000 day hospital sessions, and over 2,500 external radiotherapy sessions.
