Periodically, during the year, gastronomic days are held at the Mataró Hospital, as well as at other health centers where Serhs Food manages the food service. On this occasion, on May 29, a Hawaiian gastronomic day was held special The center’s kitchen and catering team worked on recipes for traditional dishes that were prepared with a high quality and similarity to those that can be found in the reference territory.
First courses such as Noodles with vegetables and egg, Hawaiian Salad, Salmon Lomi Lomi, Saimin and second courses such as Loco Moco, Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Nut Crusted Fish were accompanied by side dishes: Vietnamese “Rollitos”, Basmati rice with cardamom and coconut And for dessert special Macedonian and Hawaiian cake. This gastronomic offer could be tasted both in the hospital’s staff canteen and in the cafeteria open to the public. It was also held on May 30 at the Calella Hospital.
The aim is to generate dynamism in the restaurant offer and at the same time involve and recognize the excellent team of professionals in the center for their high capacity for recreation, research and preparation of complex recipes. And very tasty for the comments of the users.
This same year, a Cantabrian-Asturian gastronomic day was already held, and over time there have been national and international ones, with the decoration and props also involving the centers and the staff.
