April started with a noteworthy visit to our headquarters<\/strong>, where we welcomed the technicians from the Department of Facilities and Education Services of the Sabadell City Council<\/strong>, accompanied by representatives from several schools<\/strong> in the city, including Roureda School<\/strong>, Can Deu School<\/strong>, and Miquel Carreras School<\/strong>. The aim of the meeting was to build a closer and more enriching relationship<\/strong> and to gain a deeper understanding of the catering service<\/strong> we provide to these and other schools in Sabadell.<\/p>\n

In this context, we organized a visit to our High-Performance Kitchen (CAR) in Matar\u00f3<\/strong>, where attendees had the chance to experience first-hand how menus are prepared<\/strong>, our facilities<\/strong>, and the work of our kitchen team<\/strong>. This allowed us to demonstrate how we ensure a balanced, healthy, and tailored diet<\/strong> according to the specific needs of each educational center.<\/p>\n

This visit also offered the opportunity to resolve questions regarding the catering service<\/strong> and to establish a direct and constructive dialogue<\/strong> among all participants.<\/p>\n

Currently, in the schools of Sabadell where we provide services, we prepare more than 1,000 meals daily<\/strong>, with more than 60 different dietary plans<\/strong>, supported by a team of 234 professionals<\/strong>. Additionally, we enhance the catering service with pedagogical and interactive activities<\/strong>, such as cooking workshops<\/strong> and the Great Healthy Gymkhana<\/strong>. The latter is an educational activity designed to teach children how to identify foods<\/strong> that should be eaten more frequently and those to avoid, through monthly challenges related to the food pyramid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We also organize themed and cultural gastronomic days<\/strong>, during which we serve special menus<\/strong> (e.g., Italian, American, etc.) and decorate the facilities to create a unique experience for the children<\/strong>. At the same time, we carry out the “10 Months – 10 Causes”<\/strong> initiative, where each month we focus on a relevant theme<\/strong> (such as Water Day<\/strong>, Equality Day<\/strong>, among others), through activities that aim to raise awareness among children about important social and environmental issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With our firm commitment to providing a high-quality, healthy, and tailored catering service<\/strong>, at SERHS Food Educa<\/strong> we continue working to offer the best service to schools<\/strong>. We deeply appreciate the visit<\/strong> from the municipal technicians and schools of Sabadell and will continue collaborating to promote healthier and more sustainable eating habits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
