In this new school year 2020-2021, we apply all preventive measures based on the regulations, protocol and health recommendations related to the sector.
At SERHS Food we have the FSSC22000 food safety certification, so we comply with the quality and rigor standards when carrying out the activity process and preparing all our meals.
We will carry out all our practices and processes in the school cafeteria and recess spaces; In this way, we can guarantee that the dishes prepared are safe and that all security measures are followed in the dining room to avoid possible infections of the COVID-19 virus to the maximum.
We seek to inform and train all workers with the different protocols and contingency plans that we have, about the good practices to be present in the workplace and the correct use of PPE, in addition to those prevention and processes to be carried out. In addition, informative posters have been created for workers and users on the rules to follow and how to be protected against possible infections. In this way, it seeks to generate trust among users and those responsible for schools.
Likewise, due to the COVID-19 virus, at SERHS Food we have activated a line of emergency menus for the different spaces with restoration needs such as field hospitals, home or social care services and school canteens. With our experience of more than 40 years, we have a wide range of 5th range dishes in multirations or monorations, so that we can carry out a food service that complies with the maximum food safety measures that are contemplated in the PLANS OF CONTINGENCY of educational centres. Both in the realization of the dining room service in your own kitchen, as well as in a transported way, offering the option of product only and, even, the full dining service.
With the children present, all our dishes are prepared following the precepts of the Mediterranean diet, the recommendations of the Guide to Healthy Eating in the school stage (2020) of the Public Health Agency of Catalonia. In addition, they are balanced, healthy menus designed for children, following the nutritional criteria of the SERHS Food team of dietitians.
